Community Award and Grant Application
The Junior League of Portland extended an invitation this year for non-profit agencies to apply for our 2008 Community Award. The Community Award included a $2000.00 grant that can be used for new initiatives, existing initiatives or operating expenses. The 2009 award was granted to the Southern Maine Agency on Aging which serves seniors in so many ways: nutrition, taxes, understanding finances and government programs. We are thrilled to help.
