The JLP is always seeking to better understand the changing needs of our community and to learn about other nonprofit and social service organizations that could potentially benefit from the volunteer and leadership skills that JLP’s membership offers. If you or your organization is interested in making a suggestion, a referral, or in partnering with the JLP, please contact the Community leadership team.

The general criteria for JLP Issue-Based Community Impact Projects are as follows:

  • Project must be in the JLP’s Issue Area (Positive Youth Development).

  • Objectives and strategies are precisely defined.

  • The project is co-sponsored, or has community/program funding and participation in addition to League funding and participation.

  • Volunteers have training and leadership development opportunities with the program.

  • Impact measurement procedures are delineated.

  • A timeline and termination date is established.
